another day of touristy-ness. we slammed a lot into our friday.

-sang "feed the birds" on the steps of St Paul's Cathedral
-went to Churchill's underground secret WWII war rooms
-were inside 3 palaces
-saw some more crown jewels
-had tea at one of the palaces
-went to a proper london club
-hit a pedestrian with the bus we were taking home

one more day and we'll be on our exhausted ways home.. back to the states. shopping, rugby and one last night out for today.

explored much history yesterday. from the globe theater (picture), to the Tower of London where we gawked at the crown jewels for a while. they have a walking sidewalk going past them... we rode it thrice...thank you dawn.

interesting blisters starting to develop. god only knows what the status of those will be tomorrow after another power "we're tourist" day.

honestly, dawn still stops ever other second to take pictures of "pretty things". she asked my/our friends when we got here how they can not be in complete amazement with the beauty that surrounds them... and then she realized that the entire city would stop if they always took it in completely.

ps: our accents are becoming fantastic.

after a lazy morning, we mosied around. looking down the street, a large, intricately constructed building had us gravitating towards it. turns out to be the back side of parlaiment. we went in and sat through a debate in the house of commons. gorgeous inside!

so, we've finally found out wtf a crumpet is. and it was a bit of a let down. but in english fashion, we had some (the round declan didn't burn to a crisp) with a cup o' tea.
